Solid Resources (SRW.V)

The Management of Solid Resources should be questioned. Please explain to me how Garnet Harter, the son of the CEO has the positions detailed below.

In 1998, he joined Solid Resources as Cost and Quality Control Manager. In 2000 he was also made Accounts Payable Manager and Accounts Receivable Manager. In addition, he is now responsible for Special Projects at Solid Resources.

This sure smells of a company that has hired the CEO's son and paid him a salary. What special projects? Don't they have a CEO to do that or is the CEO's son in charge of these projects considering the fact that he has diplomas in accounting and advertising?
